The successful candidate will also be given paid work placement with the Football Manager Video Game at a mutually convenient time.Īpplications for FWA bursary are open to students on any MCCS journalism programme, either incoming 2nd or 3rd year Undergraduate or Postgraduate students who have confirmed acceptance of their offers.The successful candidate will receive mentorship from a senior FWA member and advice on career advancement.The successful candidate will also become a full FWA member.The £5,000 bursary will be split between a grant of £4,000 towards tuition fees and a fund of up to £1,000 administered by the FWA for living fees/equipment/expenses. In particular those from a lower socio-economic background, BAME, LGBTQ+ and those with disabilities. The aim of the FWA bursary is to encourage those students who come from backgrounds that are underrepresented in the industry.
